Oh mama!

Before I get to my title I have some other things first. Look what I got this weekend! Before I even knew what I was having Nick had already picked this comforter out for the baby bed. How could I say no? LOL! I really do love it. I want the baby's room, especially since it is a boy, to be a child's room. I want things to be in the room that the baby will grow to love. I love the bright colors! Now we are trying to think of wall colors to go with this. Right now the room is blue, but I think that will by way too much blue. So I need your help! What color do you think the walls should be? I am desperate for all opinions!! Also we pulled the carpet up in the room to put down a light colored hardwood floor. We ordered the floors Saturday, so they will put down soon!

Sorry this is sideways, but these are the blankets, sheets, and dust ruffle.

I picked out the I Love Mommy shirt, of course. Nick picked out the dig shirt. It was only 98 cents so I couldn't say no.

Look at what Amy made for me! Isn't it the cutest? Thanks again Amy!!

Again sorry this is sideways! This was given to me by one of my students. I LOVE it!!

Saturday we celebrated the big GA vs. Alabama game. Too bad they lost, but we still had fun spending time with everyone.

So now to the title. I am now 20 weeks and boy oh boy I have seen some changes. My stomach is way bigger than just a two weeks ago. It is amazing to see the almost daily changes. The baby is now the size of a small cantaloupe. I have been feeling about the same. The round ligament pain has stopped for now. I am still exhausted at the end of the work day, but I don't think that is going to change. We have picked out a few names, so I will share as soon as I know.

Boy or Girl??

Today was the day that I have been waiting on for so long! Finally I got to see my baby and find out the sex. I really only wanted a healthy baby. From the ultrasound everything was absolutely perfect! Those were the doctor's words, but I agree! So the big news is.... It is a BOY!!!! We are both so excited. As soon as the ultrasound technician started the first thing we saw were the boy parts. It was VERY obvious! We got to see way more this time than before. We could see the spine, mouth, nose, feet, arms, and legs. She also showed us the heart, bladder, aorta, and parts of the brain. So cool! He is now 10 ounces and is only two days off his due date. I have 5 or 6 ultrasound pictures to share, so I will get them up as soon as Amy lets me come by to scan them :)! I have lots more to update on, but I will save that for another day. I feel so blessed to have a healthy baby boy! Thanks to everyone that was at the ultrasound and everyone else that was awaiting my text. I am so glad I got to share this wonderful news with you all!! LOVE YA!

P.S. Like the new background? It needed a change!

Loooong Weekend

What a great weekend!! Nothing really exciting happened, but I was home with the man I love, so really what else do you need? We did manage to begin cleaning out the soon to be nursery. It was a office/guestroom, so with no other bedrooms in the house, we are going to have to get rid of a lot of things. This is fine by me because I hate clutter and I really enjoy getting rid of things. Anyone else out there love throwing things out? I guess I feel like it is a new start. Anyway after working hard all Saturday we took off to Anderson to see a movie and eat. We watched Tropic Thunder and it was so funny! I laughed too much which apparently the baby loved because I was feeling fluttering the entire time. So cool!! I can't wait till it is a hard kick! Speaking of the baby, while at school today the baby must have gotten in a bad spot. I was having pains on my left side (above my hip bone) that would not go away. We had a teacher workday so I was trying to get tons done and it was not easy with the constant stabbing. I guess the baby was trying to tell me to SIT DOWN!! This was different from the round ligament pain that I feel sometimes when I stand up from lying down. So I am just assuming it was the baby. Well anyways I am now 16 weeks at the baby is the size of a avocado. Amazing! Well that is all for now...
