Look what I ordered the other day!! I have been looking at it for years, and now that I have a little one on the way, I just had to have it. Of course it will have his name on the hood! Is it not just precious?!

I have been on the couch almost since 1:00 last night because I literally cannot stop coughing and my throat is killing me. It gets worse at night and in the morning, so no sleep for me! I am beginning to feel some what better so I know I have to tackle some cleaning for the big feast on Friday. We went grocery shopping last night and bought everything Nick needs to cook. He is so excited and even if I have to be prompt up I will be there! I am praying I will be better for Friday.

28 week apt.

Today I had the much dreaded glucose screening and Rh negative shot. The hardest part was not waking up this morning and eating breakfast. I am such a breakfast person, especially since I have been pregnant. I have to eat something right when I wake up! Anyway the drink tasted just like a Capri Sun ,but on a empty stomach it was not good for the stomach. I made it safely through the apt. without getting sick. The RH negative shot was slightly painful and still hurts. I now have to start going to the doctor every two weeks. I can't believe I am to that point in my pregnancy! I have to give a BIG shout out to my sister Carrie for coming with me on my appointment today. Luckily I did not need her assistance, but I am glad she was there. I love you!!

On another point, Thanksgiving is coming up soon! I LOVE Thanksgiving and all the food and being with family. We are going to my grandparents Thurs. and Nick is cooking his 2nd annual Thanksgiving feast for our friends. He gets so excited about this and has been planning for weeks. He sat down last night to make the grocery list and make his 4 day plan for cooking. Yes this is going to take 4 days. He really goes all out! Here is a picture of his grocery list! Luckily I will be out of the house Friday, shopping, and will not get in the way of his cooking, HA! Well I am off to relax and catch up on some TiVo watching. Have a great Tuesday!

Introducing THE CRIB!

Finally I have pictures to show of all the hard work my husband has been doing every Saturday for a couple months. Just to give you an idea the room was originally blue with nasty carpet. Nick pulled up the carpet and put down bamboo hardwood flooring, that I just LOVE! He then put up chair railing and painted the walls. It looks so wonderful! He put the crib together yesterday and we put the bedding and mobile on last night. I ordered blinds this morning, so things are finally coming together. We also have one dresser in our garage. We had to order a hutch to go on top of that dresser along with another dresser. This room does not have a closet so I am trying to get all the storage I can. We are still looking for a chair for the room. Anyone know of places with good deals. Gliders are ridiculously priced! Anyway this is the room so far!

A little blurry

Duncan loves the bed!
He really didn't want to get out
Mobile with little trucks
Nothing here yet, but I love the floor

I am also into my 3rd trimester today! I cannot believe how fast the time goes by. I am trying not to rush it along because I want to enjoy this part as much as possible. The last week or so has really tested my patience with the whole process. I have been having extreme back pain at night. I do not sleep well and find it hard to get out of the bed to make the many trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night. On top of that I am now sick with a cold and I have my glucose screening tomorrow. Not fun! Luckily I am off work this whole week so hopefully I can rest up and get better quickly.

here are my attempts of taking my own picture. Me at 28 weeks.

I have had to remind myself to breath a lot this week. The last couple of months have been filled with tragic events and this week was no exception. I lost a very dear and close friend this week. I still don't think it has completely sunk in that he is really gone. I keep telling myself that it will be okay and he is in a better place. He will be missed so much and will be remembered through countless stories and memories forever. I ask for you to keep his family in your prayers. This has not been easy, to say the least, so they need every good thought and prayer you can give them. Jason we love you and will forever hold you in a special place in our hearts.

100 days....

In 100 days or less Andrew will join us!! I can't believe the time has flown by. By the way we are naming the little one Andrew Conner Beele! I cannot wait for him to come into the world.

Today we are going to Greenville to look for baby furniture and register. I pray that we find furniture because I am starting to panic that we will not have everything ready and perfect. I am so excited to look at baby things also. I haven't really had a chance to look at anything baby related, which just seems crazy since I have been waiting on this forever. I suppose time got away from us and life has taken over. I am excited for today!

I am now almost 26 weeks and the baby weighs (according to baby center) about a pound and two thirds and measures 14 inches long. He is putting on baby fat and his ears have developed enough to hear what is going on outside the womb. I have been feeling great, except for when I try to sleep at night. My lower back hurts so bad that I can barely walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I can however stand and walk around all day and never have a problem. Weird?

Well I am off to get ready for a great day!! Hope you have one also!
