Before & After

Tis the season for New Year resolutions and changes. Andrew and I decided we needed a BIG change, so the other day we got haircuts!! I know you were expected something better than that! HA! This was Andrew’s 1st haircut and he did so well. My sister cut it in her home, so it was a laid back experience.

Here are some befores:

No computer!

I am typing this from my cell phone, so this will be short and sweet. A couple of days ago the battery on my laptop died. I have been without a computer and beginning to see how much I rely on one. Nick and I had already been talking about purchasing a new computer, so i guess now it will just be sooner than later. Until then have a great NEW YEAR!

Christmas 2009

We had such a wonderful Christmas! We are so blessed to all be together have such an amazing family. This year was extra special because it was Andrew very first Christmas!

We started the day with pancakes and yogurt! Yum!

Then we opened the many presents! Nick and I both said we were not going to do a whole lot this year, but of course we did. We just couldn’t help ourselves!

Andrew got so many wonderful gifts from his Grammy, Pop, Nana, and Uncle EB. He was so excited (he screamed over and over) when he opened up the rocking horse Uncle EB got him.

He also got a very nice wagon that has two seats in it!

We went for an cold afternoon stroll and Andrew loved every minute!!

Yummy!!

Recently Andrew enjoyed his 1st candy cane. Needless to say he loved it! Don’t panic he only ate a very small amount. In that very small amount of time he managed to get it all over him. So sweet!

Cobb Family Christmas

This past Sunday we celebrated Christmas at my parents. It is the kick off to the Christmas celebrations. As always we had a blast. This was the first time Andrew has ever opened a present, so he was pretty excited. As you can tell from the pictures, he wanted to eat the wrapping paper more than anything.  DSC02625(rev 1) DSC02631(rev 1) DSC02636(rev 1) DSC02637(rev 1) DSC02638(rev 1) DSC02644(rev 1) DSC02648(rev 1)

Andrew has been enjoying all the toys he received!DSC02658(rev 1)

My very talented niece Brinsley embroidered this for Nick and I. She is only 15!

Also her very talented mother, my sister, made Andrew this! Too cute!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts and making this a memorable 1st Christmas for Andrew!

I hate….

to wrap presents. I know many of you LOVE to wrap gifts, but I detest it. Nick normally wraps all the gifts, but of course he can’t wrap his own. So today while Andrew napped, I wrapped. UGH! As you can tell from the picture below, one present turned out awful. It makes me laugh to look at it. Luckily it is one of Andrew’s presents, so he will not mind.

I did get a lot of help from these tools. I had the cutter for two years and it is a life saver. I bought the pop up tape today and it was well worth the $2. DSC02683(rev 1)

Happy wrapping!!

Into everything…

Andrew is taking great joy in finding everything in the house that he does not need. I think it is time to really baby proof. We have done the obvious things such as plug in covers and the baby gate at the top of the stairs. Now I think we need to get cabinet locks and move some things off the floor (trash cans, cords, etc.). Here are some funny pictures of Andrew getting into everything!!!DSC02562(rev 1) Yes Duncan needs a haircut bad!!
