Father’s Day and Firework

Well I am still alive!! I am trying to savor every moment I have with Andrew. Every week is a reminder that time is ticking and school will be starting sooner than later. So what have we been up to? Well we are still trying new foods. Andrew loves anything orange, but don’t get near him with anything green!!DSC01466(rev 1) DSC01463(rev 1)

He is enjoying tummy time a little more. He has only rolled over a few more times. He are still working on that one!

We celebrated the Pre-4th last weekend. These are some pictures of before during and after the fireworks. It was a fun weekend!

I forgot to put a picture of Nick’s Father’s Day gift, but I will try to do that this week. We did go out to eat as a family that Saturday and Sunday.

I also found out some devastating news last Friday. Nick’s mom is no longer going to be able to watch Andrew. I was heartbroken and very upset to say the least. I have been hunting down the best sitters in town and visited one today. She seems like the perfect match, but it is going to be so hard to leave him with a stranger. I know it will get easier! Say a prayer for me! At least a have a few more weeks with my baby. Have a good week!

4 months

Andrew turned 4 months old yesterday!! I say it every month, but wow time flies! DSC01363(rev 1)

He has tried applesauce, carrots, and butternut squash and he loved them all! He also tried rice cereal, but hated it! I can’t blame him!

He is finally starting to like his swing again.

He is laughing and making tons of sounds.

He still loves his feet and is now sucking on his toes.

Taking WalksTrying out cereal. Can you it tell he did not enjoy it at all!
Spending precious time together.

Finally finding his toes and now sucking on them.

I am loving having the summers off! It came at the best time. He is changing so much every day and I am glad I am here to watch every moment. Have a blessed Friday!

A Weekend of Fun and Firsts

This sweetie pie had a weekend full of firsts! The biggest first I didn't get pictures of, of course! Saturday morning Andrew rolled over from his stomach to his back!! He has been working so hard on this and finally he did it. He can do it with no problem at all now. I am so proud of him!
He sat in his first high chair! He was giving Mr. Zebra the look!

Nick's dad caught his first fish of the year!!

Andrew actually enjoyed his Bumbo seat.
Not sure why this picture is turned sideways (sorry). By the way my sister Carrie made this chicken finger puppet. So Cute!!

Mr. Gobbles has a "friend", hmm... maybe we will have little gobbles running around!

Andrew wore his first hat!

Nick and I also went out on our first date night since Andrew was born. He had a great time with his Nanny and Papa. I am sure he missed us just a little. We had a great time and watched Angels and Demons and ate a wonderful meal at Sullivan's. We loved our time alone, but were eager to get back to see our little one.
Another HUGE firsts for Andrew was sleeping all night in his crib!!! He did this Saturday and Sunday night. I am so proud of him. He seemed to sleep fine, but I can't say that for myself. I woke up constantly to look at the mointor. I am sure it will get easier. Sorry for such a long post!

Pictures from last weekend!

School's Out for the Summer!!!

How blessed am I? I have a job that allows me to spend the summer with my baby and still get paid!! Of course if you are a teacher or know one, you know we spend plenty of our own time (and money) to make up for the summer. I have spent tons of extra hours (that I was not getting paid for) working on things at home or at school, so this break is well deserved, at least I think so. HA! Anyway we had our last post-planning day today and now it is SUMMER TIME!! I used to spend the summer being super lazy, but now with Andrew I am looking forward to lazy days with him.

Yesterday Nick and I celebrated our 4 year Anniversary!! Time really has flown by, but everyday gets better and better. I am so lucky to have met Nick so early in my life. He is my best friend and so much more. I couldn't ask for a better father for Andrew! Andrew lights up when Nick walks in the room. We went to a local restaurant last night and took Andrew along. We are also going out of town for dinner and a movie Saturday and my mom is going to keep Andrew. We are so excited, especially for the movie. That is not something you can do with a little one in tow. So I wish everyone a wonderful weekend!!
