Lots of Progress

There has been so much going on in the house! It has been VERY annoying at times to have your house FULL of people all day. The saw dust has been the worst, but I think we are finally finished with the cutting! YAY!!

This is the stairs that join the old and new parts of the house. They are stained to match the hardwood, but covered in this photo because they do not have a clear coat and the paint is not finished. They are very pretty though!

This is the view from the front door. You go up two steps to this landing. The color in this room, stairs, Kitchen, Living Room, and Powder Room are all the same. The lighting in this area makes it appear yellow, but it is a light tan. The color is Cream Fleece by Benjamin Moore.

Living Room

Ceiling, trim, and one more coat of paint is needed. Book shelves and mantel are in production. I can’t wait to see them!

Master Bedroom

I went back and forth so many times with this color, but I think it turned out okay. I need to see furniture in it to make my final decision. It is a little darker in person. The color is Lookout Point. This room only needs a few touch ups.

I pulled up some paper so you could see the hardwood floors!! I love them!! They are throughout the house expect for the Master Bath.

Master Bath

This room is a mess, but not for too long! The tile is ALMOST finished. They are coming to grout tomorrow. We still have to order a little more to finish the shower. This room has not been painted, but the color is Slate Blue and is two shades darker than the bedroom, but quite darker. I love the glass tile that we found!

Well this is the end of the tour. We are going to purchase the last bit of stuff this weekend. They are telling us that everything should be done by the end of January or beginning of February!! Yay!!
