Saturday we had a great day out and away from the house! It was much needed! We headed to Greenville in the attempts of finding some cheap bathing suits for the kids. We will be needing them on our upcoming trip to the beach!! We are so excited!! This will be Andrew’s first time and of course Abigail’s.
Anyway…we didn’t have luck with bathing suits. However, I could have bought one of EVERYTHING in the Carter’s store! They were having a great sale, so we did walk out with quite a few things for our growing girl. She is now in 6 months clothes…do what?? The length in the 3 month clothes we too short, so we had to move up. I have pack up a large Rubbermaid container of all the things she can no longer wear. So sad! Now we are having to buy a lot of summer things a size we were not expecting. The shopping has been so much fun!
Here are some pictures in the car. Andrew is “chewing” gum and Abigail loving her babies.
Anyway…after shopping we headed to Mimi’s Café for lunch. Andrew spent the majority of his time flirting with the staff. We were seated in a booth near the kitchen and he kept looking under the curtains at the staff. They were rolling! He kept making funny faces at everyone and they were doing it right back. Abigail was SOOO good the entire time. She sat back and smiled or slept.
Then we headed to Reddy River Falls Park. It was so nice outside! It was a little humid, but a lot cooler than normal. Andrew loved looking at the water and Abigail enjoyed the ride. Can you believe how big she looks! She is not even 3 months yet!
We headed home much past nap time.
It was a great day! We got home and rested for a few hours and ended the day at Nick’s parents. They fed us a wonderful meal and we spent time with some wonderful grandparents. Great Saturday!
