Slumber party

Today was my first day of summer break!! AHH!  It is so nice to know I have no where to go in the mornings!! Abigail is going to daycare on Tuesdays and Thursdays this summer, so she went for part of the day.  Andrew and I spent some time working on school stuff.  I want to try to spend at least half an hour (or longer) each day working on specific skills.  We are currently working on cutting, writing, ending/middle sounds, coloring, and numbers 11-20.  He knows letters/sounds, shapes, colors, how to write his first and last name, how to write all letters, and counting to 100.  We are also going to work on the first (and maybe second) sight word list for Kindergarten.   He already knows half of the first list!  Smart boy!  His fine motor skills are lacking some, so we are really working on cutting and coloring.  I have already seen big improvements this year!

This evening we meet up with friends for supper! It was loud, silly, and perfect! 3 moms and 6 kids under 5!

We then went to our local public library to drop off stuffed animals for a slumber party! This is such a cute idea!

They kids listened to a few stories and tucked them in for the night.

We will pick them up in the morning and see what kind of fun they had!
