Plan with me?? How I use my erin condren planner

Happy Monday everyone!! I am back to work today after a wonderful break.

Today I wanted to show how I use my Erin Condren planner.  I have had one of the life planners for 2 years and I LOVE it!!  I have recently wanted to try to really utilize all of its components and get my family really organized.

I am thinking about making this a weekly series here on the ol’ blog.  What do you think?  I am very new to “decorating” my pages, so there is nothing special as of yet.

Some tools I used this week…

I always start by writing down any major events, meal plan, and make a grocery list.

I add the meal plan to the bottom of each date.

I plan on doing this kind of post more regularly.  If you are interested in receiveing $10 off an Erin Condren product (they have so many!), use the link below!

Sunday Funday

We decided to get out and have some fun today before the chaos of the week starts.  We met up with friends and Dave and Busters.  We had lunch and let the kiddos play games.

These two are the cutest!

We then went to Sky Zone and let the kids jump.  This was Abigail’s first time and she LOVED it!

Back to work tomorrow!

Andrew’s 6th birthday Party

Andrew decided on an Iron Man/Avenger’s theme for his party this year.  This has been the third year of super heroes.  I am starting to run out of ideas!  We had a smaller crowd this year due to families being sick or out of town.  We enjoyed our small group and got to visit with some great friends and families.

Andrew’s bedroom is decorated with Avenger's, so I borrowed most of it from his room.

I laid out some of Nick’s old comic books.

And a basket of dress up costumes.

My two super heroes!

Eating with friends!

Before cake time!

Opening presents!

He a great time!! This was one of the easiest parties I have done! I am thrilled about that!

Happy birthday to my sweet Andrew!

Happy Friday

I am so sad to see my Winter Break come to an end.  It always makes me want to be a stay at home mom.  However, I LOVE to shop and go places…so I need to work. LOL!

Today is cleaning and laundry day.  Andrew’s party is at 11am tomorrow, so I am trying to get everything cleaned and decorated today.

I also dropped Duncan off at the dog groomer.  I have been such a bad mom and let his hair get out of control.  Poor thing! I know he will feel like a new dog!

This post is very random, but look what I am wearing today…Yes my Emer High Waisted Cropped Trouser from my first Stitch Fix.  I am so in love, and I think I will never take them off! I am wearing them causal today with a Loft denim jacket, Old Navy blue and white stripped tee, and TOMS.  So comfy!

My first Stitch Fix

I finally received my first Stitch Fix! I was excited and I was NOT disappointed! What is Stitch Fix?

“Stitch Fix is the first fashion retailer to blend expert styling, proprietary technology and unique product to deliver a shopping experience that is truly personalized for you. Simply fill out the Stitch Fix Style Profile and our personal stylists will handpick a selection of five clothing items and accessories unique to your taste, budget and lifestyle. Simply buy what you like and return the rest.”

I did a lot of reading and research before I decided to try Stitch Fix.  I have 2 small children and have ZERO time to shop at nice places.  I tend to buy things online which isn’t the best.  Now I have a personal stylist that knows my body, style, and preferences!  I love how you can choose a price range for different items.  I will spend more on pants than shirts and I like to spend very little on jewelry.  They take all that into account.

So on to what I got!

The package comes with a prepaid return bag and an envelope.

I got a personalized letter from my stylist Christina!

I also got a card that shows what to wear with each item.  Love this!

The inside!

Genevieve Stacked Chevron Pendent Necklace $28

I LOVED this necklace.  It was gold (LOVE!) and long.  I requested simple jewelry and this fit the bill.

Callie Open Knit Sweater $64

At first I thought I would like this…not so much.  The length was short in the front, which I don’t mind usually.  However, this was SHORT in the front.

Melandry Button-Up Tab-Sleeve Blouse $68

LOVE!! The color is my favorite and the length was perfect for skinny jeans/leggings.  It is also perfect for work/church.

Abriella Waffle Knit Cardigan $48

I LOVE cardigans, but this one was just not my favorite.  The bottom had a weird scoop and made my hips look even bigger than they already do, so no.

Emer High Waisted Cropped Trouser $98

I saved my favorite for last!!  I requested black pants and I got them!! I would NEVER spend $98 on pants, but these were high quality and fit perfectly!!  It is hard to tell from the picture, but they do not have a zipper or button.  They fit like leggings, but have the thickness of trousers.  LOVE!

I am wearing these in every picture.

I ended up getting these 3 pieces!

I have included the pricing, so you can see how everything works out.  You do get a 25% discount if you buy all 5 items.

I hope this helps anyone that is on the fence about this service.
